Notice of Apprenticeship Opportunity For the Position of Inside Wireman (Electrician) Apprentice

1. Be a Minimum of 17 years of age to apply and be 18 years of age at the time of indenture

2. Be at least a high school graduate, GED, or two year associate degree or higher.

3. Show evidence of successful completion of one full year of Algebra with a passing grade, or one post high school alegebra course with a passing grade.

4. Provide an official transcript for high school and post high school education and training. All GED records must be submitted of applicable.

5. Submit DD-214 to verify military training/or experience if you are a veteran and wish to receive consideration for such training/experience.

6. Qualify for interview using the electrical trades aptitude test developed and validated by American Institutes for Research.

7. Present evidence that they posses a valid driver's license.

8. Prior to being indentured, applicants selected from the pool of interviewed applicants must be at least 18 years of age.

9. Prior to being indentured, applicants selected from the pool of interviewed applicants will be required to provide results of a physical examination and a drug test as decided by the JATC.

10. Individuals who can verify(proper documentationrequired thatbthey have worked a minimum of eight thousand(8,000) hours specifically in the electrical construction trade, do not need to meet the requirements of item(2)    and (3).

11.Individuals who have worked a minimum of forty- five  hundred (4,500)hours as a Residential Wireman under an  IBEW/NECA (proper documentation required), do not need to meet the requirements of items(2) and (3).
